Davao Philippines Acrobat User Group

The Acrobat User Group in Davao City, Philippines is a new group as of October 2007. The group has been assembled to share information and learning events related to Adobe Acrobat and in particular to Acrobat and LiveCycle Disigner forms. In addition new technologies related to Adobe PDFs and integration with other Adobe Applications are supported by the group.

Who We Are

The Davao Acrobat User Group is comprised of professionals in business, education, and government as well as a sizable student population. All individuals from any type of business or organization with an interest in learning more about Acrobat and other Adobe applications software are welcomed to join the group.

Meeting Site

The initial meeting site is located at Fwendz Diner on Metro Avenue just behind Gaisano Mall and past San Pedro Hospital. The size of the group is growing, therefore we will soon be holding regular meetings at another location —possibly the University of Mindanao. Any change in venue will be posted here on Acrobat Users.

Chapter Leaders

Christopher Cubos
Chris is currently acting Chapter Leader until the group holds elections for officers. Chris is an accomplished designer, video specialist, and web designer with many credits to his name. He currently provides training on Adobe After Affects, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Applications at local universities, conferences, and expos. You can reach Chris at: chriscubos@yahoo.com.

Ted Padova
Ted is a local Davao resident who arrived in Davao from Honolulu, Hawaii in the USA in April 2007. Ted is assisting the group in getting started and will act as an assistant Group Leader until the members hold elections for various officer positions.
