I'm a legal assistant at a law firm in Juneau, Alaska, specializing mostly in personal injury, employment, and commercial litigation. I have an almost 3 year old border collie/husky mix named Murray who provides hours of entertainment. When I get the opportunity, I enjoy making beaded jewelry, flowers, decorations, pretty much anything!
How I Use Acrobat
I've found that my job is so much easier when I keep all my client records (especially medical records) in PDF format so I can transmit a single cd to insurance adjustors and opposing counsel instead of a box of paper - plus it saves on copy costs and shipping! It also means I don't have to drag around binders when I need to find things.
