About me
Hi! I'm the program manager for the Acrobat User Community. I have over 15 years working for major software companies in Silicon Valley, including three years at Adobe in corporate marketing and on the Acrobat product team.
How I Use Acrobat
I primarily use Acrobat in my day-to-day work, mostly in collaborating with other members of the team and with members of the Acrobat user community. As program manager for AcrobatUsers.com, I spend a lot of my time reviewing and editing documents. The feature I use the most is the server-based shared review. In addition to adding my own comments, I can easily track who else has edited a document and what comments they have added. I remember the days when all reviews were done with a cover sheet stapled to the article. Everyone had to enter and initial their edits and sign off on the cover sheet. I'm glad those days are gone!
My Skills
Because of the nature of my job, I'm most familiar with Acrobat's document collaboration tools, but I also create PDF documents and have been known to capture web pages as PDF files from time to time. In other words, you would be remiss to ever apply the term "Acrobat expert" to me! But if you want advice on marketing your product or how to create a user friendly website, then I'm your person.
