About me

I am the Business Development Manager for the AEC/EPC emerging vertical at Adobe. Primarily this is the Architecture, Engineering and Construction community. I work directly with customers, present at industry events, and develop relationships with the industry associations.

My background is that I am a Civil Engineer with a specialty in Project Management. My past work experience has been with heavy construction, oil & gas production, and technology consulting for large capital facilities.

How I Use Acrobat

Working for Adobe I use it everyday! What is exciting for the industry that I support is that Adobe has put a heavy emphasis in putting functionality into the application to meet the industry's needs. What I like the most is the ability to handle advanced engineering file types such as Visio, CAD and 3D models. Next would be the ability to combine multiple file formats together to be transmitted to other individuals. What good is a drawing if you don't have the specifications or the calculations? I also use Acrobat extensively for the form features. For the AEC/EPC community we rely extensively on process and collecting data from multiple parties. Last I think the biggest leap is be able to turn on the Free Adobe Reader for review & comment, save, and digital signatures. I can now leverage almost 90% of desktops with one common file format!
