About me

I have invented a new type of internet button which is not hypertext but hypercontext. That is, in hypertext when you punch a button, you leap from one lilypad onto some other lilypad in cyberspace. It is the equivalent of a silly programming GO TO statement, of the sort which good programmers are trained never to use. In sophisticated databases, however, there is a technique known as "taking a view," and my hypercontext is an implementation of that database technique. When you punch one of my hypercontext buttons, you remain exactly at the data module in which you are situated, and what alters is the context within which that particular data module is being viewed. For instance, if you are looking at a data module which deals with a particular meeting of the Saturday Club at a hotel in downtown Boston, at which racism and sexism were discussed, and you punched the racism hypercontext button, you would transit into a space in which this particular data module is situated as one in a chain of sequential data modules having to do with racism and antiracism, whereas if you instead punched the sexism hypercontext button, you would transit into a space dealing with the history and development of sexism and antisexism.

How I Use Acrobat

I use the Adobe FrameMaker "Save as PDF" command to create files in my local "kouroo" relational distributed database, which I then put up on my website "www.kouroo.info". Please refer to that website for examples such as http://www.kouroo.info/kouroo/trends/StateMurder.pdf.
