About me
My name is Tim Huff, I am the Field Support Manager at Adobe, I have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, I spent 16 years developing 3D CAD software at a couple of the major CAD companies. I also spent time in the EPC industry doing structural design and writing custom code to automate the process. I love to be in front of customers, and enjoy playing with all the Adobe Products. So, I love to Geek out and be on the bleeding edge of technology
How I Use Acrobat
I use Acrobat in many different ways. I see it as a mission critical application, not just for PDF creation. I use it for Collaboration, Sharing ideas, multimedia presentations, forms and data collection, and anything else I can think of! I still do a lot of design consulting, and I use Acrobat to secure my 2D and 3D CAD files, along with the attaching of all other documents that are required or the project.
My Skills
I am a CAD expert, 2D and 3D (mostly 3D using Autodesk Inventor, Revit, Civil, Arch, Mech, Solidworks, Pro-E, Catia, UGS, SolidEdge, Alibre, Microstation, and many other smaller 3D systems), I am also deeply in to forms in Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer, as well as Java, HTML, VB, Flex, AIR, Flash, and Microsoft Products.
