Tim Plumer
About me
Tim Plumer, Jr. is a Maine native with a long history of working with Adobe Acrobat. He co-developed and led ImageSet Educational Services, a successful educational division at ImageSet, Inc in Portland, Maine. He worked directly for Adobe as a Business Development Manager for four years covering products as diverse as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Photoshop, and of course Adobe Acrobat. He left Adobe to work as a consultant to the industry, joined with Working Words & Graphics to focus on PDF workflows for print, color management, and variable data publishing, and then stepped back out on his is on his own offering a wide range of consulting services around Acrobat and PDF document workflows. He has returned to Adobe as a Sr. Solutions Engineer for the Education Sales team, and he is focusing on Adobe Acrobat once again.
Tim has spoken as a featured speaker at a variety of industry, education, and government events such as FOSE, Print 05, GraphExpo, Seybold Boston, AIIM On-Demand, the PINE Graphics Communications Day, and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) annual tradeshow. Additionally, he has written for or provided technical editing services for more than fifteen different titles covering a variety of topics in digital graphics, and he hosted both the Adobe Acrobat Training series Total Training for Adobe Acrobat 7.0 & 8 and Lynda.com Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional Essentials.
He is currently somewhere in New England hoping for a Red Sox win, a mild winter, and good burrito.
