Could not access Acrobat’s Web Capture facility

I get the message, "Could not access Acrobat’s Web Capture facility" when I try to convert a current web page to a pdf file. It only works if I have Acrobat open and go through the Web Capture steps from there.

I'm using IE 6 and have the Adobe Convert and Select buttons on the toolbar so it appears the option should be available.

I recently upgraded from Acrobat 7 Professional to Acrobat 9 Professional, however I'm sure I've been able to do it since I upgraded - it seems to have quit working for no apparent reason.

Thanks for any suggestions.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Are you running multiple version of Acrobat/Reader on your system? This can sometimes create issues with the web capture capability.
Try running Detect and Repair from the Help menu in Acrobat.

What OS are you running on your system?

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Windows 7 64 Bit
Internet Explorer 8 acrobat web page converter and preferences cannot be accessed.

Some times does convert first page only but most of the time the page is 0 bits or can't be read.

Error message: Could not access Acrobat's Web Capture facility. Acrobat may be busy or waiting for input.

Ran Acrobat repair, completely reinstalled to no avail.

Ran repair: Didn't work
Completely reinstalled: Did not work.

Was working last week (some times) I upgraded from my old Acrobat Pro to access the newer Web pages.

I understand that others have had this problem is there a solution?
