Is there a way to view PDF version numbers in a Windows folder other than opening each file? I have a need to know that a massive folder contains no PDFs greater than V1.4

Right-click the file, go to Properties, switch to the PDF tab and look under "PDF Version".

However, this does not solve your problem since you need to do this to a large number of files, one by one.
Several options to do this automatically:
- Batch process in Acrobat Pro
- External tool that processes all files in a selected folder

- AcrobatUsers Community Expert - Contact me personally at try6767 [at] gmail [dot] com

Hi,

the Preflight tool is your friend: http://imagesinsolites.free.fr/parkimages/preflight-1320589182415.png
