When I install adobe acrobat pro 6.0 I get an error message of acrodist.exe I am very confused as I just bought the program and need it for work as my old computer took its own life. I got a new computer and I cannot get pro 6.0 to install. Help!

(1) If you don't tell us what that error message actually is, it is very hard for us to assist you.
(2) How could you have just "bought the program?" The current version of Acrobat is 8.1. Acrobat 6 hasn't been sold for over 2 and a half years.
(3) A message from Acrodist.exe is very different from "cannot get pro 6 to install." Do you get an error message when you install the software or what?
