Exporting PDF to word - frames

When exporting a PDF to Word, I noticed that paragraphs and/or sections tend to get exported inside "frames".  When you open the document in word, the text is surrounded by these frames and it makes editing difficult.

Is there a setting in Adobe which can remove the frames, but keep the rest of the formatting?

Just curious is all...

Thanks a lot,
Nat

Re: Exporting PDF to word - frames

Hi Nat --

Short answer -- no. The Word export isn't perfect. Basically, each document element having a different style is given its own frame.

I find that sometimes exporting as .rtf rather than .doc can make it a bit simpler to use.

Sometimes all you can do is take a deep breath and start converting the frames.

Thanks a lot Donna.

That is what I thought but I appreciate your response just the same.

Not really that big of a deal, but good to know just the same.
