Excel form into Adobe form

I have an Excel file that has been designed with drop down fields.  Can I import this file into Acrobat 8 Professional and retain the form fields?

Re: Excel form into Adobe form

Hi EJR,

No.  When you convert from Excel to PDF the programming in the Excel file does not come along.  Acrobat basically flattens it so that interactivity is lost.  You will need to add the drop-downs back into the PDF using Acrobat Pro.

Hope that helps,

Dimitri

I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer but thanks for taking the time to respond, Dimitri!
