FAQ - "This Operation Not Permitted" Message

Problem
"This Operation Not Permitted" Message appears when a Reader-enabled PDF is opened in Reader or during form submittal.

Solution
This message is usually caused by fonts not being embedded within a form. Make sure all fonts are embedded (you can check this under the File --> Properties --> Font tab). Also, make sure that fonts are embedded in underlying PDF (if used) as well. You can use the function Document --> Examine Document feature in Acrobat Pro. prior to importing a PDF as artwork in LiveCycle. You can also find hidden text and deleted hidden page content, which may cause the issue as well.
