Help! How do I use the typewriter tool?

Dear Lori,

I am using Acrobat Professional 7.0 and am having problems filling in forms that do not have form fields.

I was told that I could use the "typewriter" tool but is there a way that I can specify what type of font and size I want to use? In my previous versions of Acrobat, I used the Text Box tool. I can't seem to locate that tool in the new version.

Hi BB,

Good news - the TextBox tool is still in Acrobat 7! This tool is located on the Drawing Markups toolbar (Tools > Drawing Markups > TextBox tool)

As far as the Typewriter Tool, the font is a monotype font. You can increase/decrease the font size but you need to use the toolbar items to do this (see Figure 1)
