How do I create document previews of my Adobe Presenter 7 presentations?

Dear Lori,

Dear Lori, I just downloaded Acrobat 9 and Adobe Presenter 7. I created a presentation and published to PDF – I love it! However, when I look at the preview of the document – it just looks like at blank white page – I want it to have a preview.

—SF

Lori responds,

Dear SF,

Once you create the PDF document from PowerPoint using Adobe Presenter – you’ll see that there is no preview.

Figure 1: Notice that the PowerPoint and the PDF document created from Acrobat have a preview, but the document created from Adobe Presenter does not.

Just create a single one page PDF (typically of your first slide) and then select Document > Replace Pages and select the one-page PDF that you want to be the preview.

Save the file –and now it will appear with a preview – in the operating system and/or in a PDF Portfoliofigure 3
