Hi Leonardo Dantas,

The latest version of Acrobat (XI), has a setting button in the Save As dialog that allows you to specify the separators using regional settings. Have you tried this?

Thanks,
Lori

[See English translation at end of this thread.]
Estou exportando um arquivo pdf pelo Acrobat X para o excel, contudo os valores estão ficando diferentes, isto é, com as casas decimais desconfiguradas. (Translation: I am exporting a pdf file by Acrobat X to excel, but the values are getting different, ie, with decimal misconfigured.)

Por exemplo, os valores no arquivo pdf são:

1.349,1855
1.260,8052
1.351,3994

Contudo, na planilha convertida, os valores apresentam-se da seguinte forma:

1,3491855
1,2608052
1,3513994

Em outra planilha do pdf, acontece o contrário:

Os valores na planilha do pdf são:

0,44583
0,22962
1,61240
0,45216

Contudo, na planilha de excel resultado da exportação, os valores aparecem

44.583
22.962
161.240
45.216

I am exporting a PDF file by Acrobat X to excel, however the values are getting different, that is, with the decimal misconfigured. (Translation: I am exporting to PDF file by Acrobat X to excel, but getting the values are different, ie, with decimal misconfigured.)

For example, the values in the pdf file are:

1349.1855
1260.8052
1351.3994

However, spreadsheet converted values are shown as follows:

1.3491855
1.2608052
1.3513994

In another worksheet pdf, the opposite happens:

The values in the worksheet pdf are:

0.44583
0.22962
1.61240
0.45216

However, the result of excel spreadsheet export values appear

Hi Walter,

My advice is to update to Acrobat XI and take advantage of its improved ability to export to Excel. You can download a 30-day full-working trial to test it out at:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro&sdid=ITXWF

Hope this helps,

Patty

I am triying to export a pdf file to an excel, but it beside numbers and words, has pictures, I have seldom problemsÑ
1) when I select all the Items and then I ask the program to open it as a excel sheet, it just opens just the items of the firs page of the document…??????
2) If I try to use the second method, that consist in saving the file as an excel file, it safe as a safari file ( I do not understand anything about it) and then I cannot open it.
3) I have not been able to export the pictures that appears in the original pdf file.

would anybody help me to solve my problem? I have many files to convert and if I am not able to convert them, then I will have to write each of them by hand.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jorge,

Excel output is not configurable in any way from Acrobat X. It may improve with subsequent updates to Acrobat.

Hope this helps.
