enpassing info to pdf form with field too small for data
http://acrobatusers.com/forum/general-acrobat-topics/passing-info-pdf-form-field-too-small-data

If you send data to a pdf form and the field is too small for the data, the pdf document will cut off part of your data and place a "+" (plus sign) indicating there is more data than can be seen in the field.

So I thought I would use the Max Charater option on my web form...this gives me some strange results because the O is much wider than the i. This gives a very strange end result.

Adobe Acrobat X Professional

I am trying to create an action per user at my job. Trying to explain to some people how to move around a directory structure is like pulling teeth, so I am trying to make an action to where all they have to do is goto our scanning station, click action, then their name, put in a file name and go back to their desk.

http://acrobatusers.com/forum/general-acrobat-topics/acrobat-word-conflict

Hi!

I run Windows XP Professional (v. 2002, SP 3), which I keep up to date.

I read that there was a conflict between Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Microsoft Word 2003 Professional.

Since I have had problems with Word, is there a way to install Acrobat as a stand alone application with no interaction with Word?

How do I do it?

Thank you.

Greetings, I can not save modifications to my PDF documents. I'm using x64 Windows 7. Not sure whether that's important. Is there a security or locking feature on the Adobe documents?

I had Acrobat Professional 8 and started having trouble with my document view (things, especially graphs, were very distorted) after I upgraded to 2010. My IT determined I needed to upgrade Acrobat to alleviate the problem, so that’s what I did. Now my document view is fine, but with Acrobat X I’m not able to utilize the packing option available in Pro 8.

The first couple of pages print okay. After that, they print with unrecognizable characters. How can I download an earlier version?

I held of clicking the update notice that kept popping up until today. I should have followed my instincts to not do it. Now after the update Acrobat crashes every time I launch it. Acrobat starts up and sits there for a few seconds then crashes. I have had it crash without fail for the last 5 times I have started it.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution?

I am new to Acrobat X Pro and am struggling to figure out how to change the default red text that is applied to comments to another, more readable (for red-color-blind folks) color. It's not obvious, as it was in version 9.x Pro. Where are the controls for font colors when adding comments and/or text directly to documents?

Thank you.

I have a large book (not copyrighted) that is being scanned. The pages are printed front and back but my scanner does not duplex. So I am ending up with two documents. One with the odd page numbers and one with the even page numbers.
