I am currently working on a basic 3d spares parts catalogue. Using the 3d toolkit i have been able to transfer models and part details from CAD to the toolkit.

Is it possible to create part call-outs that become visible when the mouse cursor hovers over a part?

I have looked through the varioius call-out settings but have not seen anything that may help

At the moment every call-out is shown on screen, this causes a confusing and "busy" view.

Any comments gratefully received

Cheers

One thing to note: Unfortunately with Acrobat 3D version 7 and 8, the 3D toolkit callouts are not going to be visible when you save the U3D file and insert them in PDF documents with Acrobat. If your desired output format is PDF, since there is no mechanism to display these callouts, there is no way to control their visibility via Javascript.

The callouts are visible if/when you flatten the 3D views in the 3D toolkit using the Raster/Vector features. Typically people use these to generate 2D Vector files for work in Illustrator.
