Acrobat v10??

When is v 10 expected to be released and are they working of upgrading the poor functionality of reviewer? ie. Actual library of materials, the ability to use bmp files in the material, adding bump maping capability, ect, ect. You know...like what they USED to have!

Anyone heard anything?

Hi Dreamer777,

Adobe has not made any announcements that I know of regarding Acrobat 10. For the last couple major releases ( 7 to 8 and 8 to 9) they have been on about an 18 month cycle. No guarantees they will do 18 months this cycle, but that is the recent history.

I doubt anyone from Adobe will make any comments about it now since Acrobat 9 has only been out for what, about 8 or 9 months now?

Thanks for the reply. I bet you are correct. We're probably only half way through Adobe's development cycle. Thanks for the insight.
