Hi,
I am looking for a realistic and good looking texture object to import from 3dsmax to PDF, so I have baked the materials in 3dsMax.
The problem is that this material requires Unwrap UVW mapping modifier and when I have imported to PDF does not preserve the mapping coordinates.
The goal is to achieve a reflective material.
Any idea or suggestion?

thanks in advance

You don't say how you're transferring the mesh across, which would help.

U3D, the tesselated format used in PDF files, has limited support for UV mapping channels. You'll need to burn in all your modifiers (select all > convert to editable mesh) before exporting.

Thanks for your answer,
finally I got it.
I was having some problems burning in the modifiers. UVW Unwrap modifier was applying a map channel number 3 to the object so when I was exporting as 3DS the original mapping was not correctly been applied.
