We have about 12 licences for Acrobat 9 Pro Extended for the purposes of reviewing CAD data from many sources. Our primary CAD tool is Catia V5 and I've recently cleared all of our other software for Catia V5 R20 - all except Acrobat (we're using 9.4.0, released on 10/5/2010). I can't seem to find any documentation from Adobe that shows the supported CAD files for each release, but I saw something online that said 9.3.4 supported Catia V5 up to R19 SP4. Do you think support will be added for R20 in the 9.x branch of Acrobat? In the Defense/Aerospace industry and the Automotive, all the big players have already started moving to R20 and I fear Acrobat will be left behind. From what I understand, there are few differences in the actual CAD data from R19 SP4 to R20 SP0/SP2. I'm just hoping Adobe/Tech Soft 3D doesn't leave us hanging and require an upgrade to Acrobat X to maintain compatibility. Also, is there any way to get in the Beta program for Acrobat X?

The 9.4 update issued this week addresses security and performance issues but does not affect supported 3D file versions. You can read a complete list of the changes from this page:

We are not in a position to make any comments regarding future versions of Adobe software or support for those versions that may or may not be released by third-party vendors.
