Hello,
is der any possibility to change a View of the 3D model like "go to 3D view" with JavaScript.
I need it for a batch sequence, which sets the functionality of some buttons to change the views which are saved.

Thanks.
Sandy

No, I didn´t find a solution. I realized it with cameras, but i´m not satisfied. Maybe you´ll find a way.

Hi all, I have a similar problem. Here is a conversation in a different forum:

My latest post is:

Another line of my thinking is: When you go to:

3D properties on the 3DAnnot > Manage Views > NEW VIEW. What does Adobe 3D save this newly-created view as? What does Adobe 3D store the name of the view as? The clincher is: Is there a way to retrieve the view in JS form?Shadow: How did you get it to work with cameras?

Hi,
i realized it with the help of the script "cameraRotate" from Adobe. I set up the view of the model and get the 4 params (pich, yaw, cameraDistance and target) and wrote new functions to set the camera on this position.

Notice: there is a different between views and the camera!
