Hi

We have a customer which intensively uses 3D capabilities in Acrobat 8 3D but could not find the similar features using Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. Basically they could not find out a way transform the model using “Scale by” factor in Transform tab in the Acrobat 3D Conversion window as they used to do in Acrobat 8. This tab is not available in Acrobat 9.

We tried to use 3D Reviewer but Properties, where we can find similar commands is always read only.

Thanks in advance

That option is not available in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended - all you can do is specify the real-world name of the internal units within a file.

3D Reviewer cannot make changes to a file's global scaling, it's designed for adding simple states for animations and visually display a file's contents, but that's about it. The clue, unfortunately, is in the name. 3D Toolkit, which shipped with Acrobat 8.3D, was a fully-featured file editor. That software is now only available as a third-party product from Right Hemisphere, called Deep Exploration.
