retaining background image set in toolkit.

Although I can set a background in the toolkit by right-clicking the viewer and selecting 'Open Background' , I can' t seem to get that background to stay when I create a *.u3d and ultimately a 3Dpdf. Am I doing something wrong? I just want a jpg or similar in the background behind my 3Dpdf.

My Product Information:
Acrobat 3D 8.1.2, Windows

OK, I found a solution to this problem. In Acrobat8_3D, the Attach3dResource.api resource (available at http://www.graysonlang.com/acrobat3d/attach3dresource/8.0/Attach3DResource.api ) coupled with the background js found here (http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bbf26a1 ) will allow you to set a background image.
