Can anybody tell me how to import a Rhino 3dm file into Acrobat with the file structure still intact?

I see that Rhino is listed as compatible with Acrobat but I can’t find anything that explains how to get my 3D model into Acrobat with the tree structure intact. I tried simply dragging the 3dm file into Acrobat but got an error saying the file type was not supported or that it has been damaged.

Rhino is not supported by Acrobat 9 - to import your geometry you will need to first export into a format that we do support, by referring to this list:

There is a third-party plugin for Rhino 4+ that exports into PDF:
