I just finished watching a tutorial on how to convert CAD files (in my case, from AutoCAD 2010) into PDF through the 3D capture feature. After following the directions and selecting all the appropriate settings I want, it then tells me to press Print Screen (on the AutoCAD file), which I do, however, the tutorial doesn't explain how to actually get it into Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended 9 after that. When I press Print Screen over the AutoCAD file, is a Settings menu within Adobe Acrobat supposed to appear simultaneously, or do I have to copy and paste like most other print screen applications?

1) Open the 3D application, and set it to use OpenGL rendering
2) Select File..Create PDF.. From 3D Capture in Acrobat
3) Switch to the application, ensure the window showing the model is active and press Print Screen
4) Switch back to Acrobat - [i]if the capture has worked, the Settings button will now be activated.[/i]
5) Click it and choose how to process the captured data, then click OK to create the PDF.
If the settings button remains disabled, your 3D application isn't in OpenGL mode or Acrobat can't detect the runtime instance (doing something in the window, like rotating or zooming, can help with the latter). Obviously Acrobat 9 was only tested against applications that existed at the time, so AutoCAD 2010 isn't on the list.
