Accessibility - turn off this feature

I see this question on February 2 - I too have this problem in Reader 8 (on my home computer). When I open any PDF document (I do not create any documents) I receive a message saying to wait until the document is optimized for reading. This message does not appear on my work computer using Reader version 7 (again, I do not create PDF documents on my work computer). I do not use a screen reader on either machine, and don't believe I have any accessibility features turned on for my PC (home or work). It started on my home PC when I still had version 7 and continues now that I upgraded to version 8 (I thought I might have an option to turn this feature off when I upgraded, but no such luck). I don't have a true problem with this optimization, but it is annoying to have to wait for documents to open, etc. and not need this feature's capabilities.

My Product Information:
Reader 8, Windows

It's a preference in Acrobat - you can turn it off.
