I'm running acrobat reader IX on windows XP sp2.

Some changes in registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:00000091
"RestrictRun"=dword:00000001
"Run"="1"
"Num"="2"

And
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\RestrictRun]
here is a list of soft:
...............
...............
...............
AcroRd32.exe
AcroRd32Info.exe
...............
There are all of .exe files from the acrobat reader directory in that list.

These changes prevents users to run any software except listed. But when any .pdf file opens with acrobat reader, error appears: "his action has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer". The file opens correctly, error appears in 1-3 minutes since the file had been opened. It seems that adobe reader starts some process, but i don't know it. What can it be?

Sorry for my English, I'm from Russia.

Could be a number of things - such as the AIM update checker, Tracker, etc. Check what's in "Common Files/Adobe", but the only way to see what's going on is to remove your restrictions cap and watch the system via process explorer.
