Batch processing to set default language

I've got over 5000 documents to fix accessibility issues on. I've successfully fixed all the problems they had except for setting the default language to English. Adobe hasn't come up with any suggestions yet and thought this forum might have an edge up on how to accomplish this task.

Using Acrobat Professional 8.
Preflight run by a Batch Process can set desired language.
