I use Acrobat Professional 7 to combine many, many small PDF’s (between 2-6 pages each) into one large document. Is there a way to extract the bookmarks and the page numbers into an Excel spreadsheet? Assume I am taking the many smaller documents and creating large document and I need to generate a report that will list the contents in Word or Excel format for others to review so I will need the bookmarks (filenames) and the corresponding page numbers. Will I need to upgrade to Acrobat 8?

Acrobat Pro 7.0, Windows

HI there...I work in Publishing and have a tool that spits out a bookmark report. It's ISI Toolbox, and it is wonderful. The bookmark report is generated into a PDF, then we delete the other fields (with PitStop), copy and paste into excel! It's wonderful. I just wish the Acrobat folks would create an Acrobat tool so we didn't haveto use 3rd party tools!
