Content Reading....

I'm incurring a situation where a content reading process takes place when I attempt to access a PDF file. The message box indicates"content reading progessing....". It's not creating a problem it just takes additional time every time I look at a PDF file. In an effort to stop this from happening ,I've attempted to access the reading preferences under edit, preferences, reading. When I click on reading it crashes Adobe every time. I'm thinking it may relate to interaction with my NaturallySpeaking software but I'm not sure?

Thanks in advance for your help. Brent

Have you tried Edit-->Preferences-->Reading--> Uncheck "Confirm before tagging documents" under "Screen Reader Options"?You can also try disabling the Microsoft Narrator by going to Start>All Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>Utility Manager, or simply pressing Windows+U. Then Stop the Narrator.

Thanks, but adobe crashes when I choose the "Reading" option under Preferences. I have stopped the narrator. Not sure what to try next.
