I read Leonard Rosenthol's reply to my comments about Acrobat v8:

and would like to know why I can use Version 5, on my wife's computer, with the exact same keyboard and mouse with no problems. We both have Dell PCs with same OS)
Also, perhaps Adobe has records of what was told me on "that fateful day" when I think I was told Vs 7 and 8 were not as compatible to a person with my handicap as V 5 and 6 were.

The general feedback I hear is that Acrobat 7 and 8 are far more compatible with people who have visual disabilities than version 5. My apologies if that is not true in your particular case.
