Inoperational read alowed feature

Hello comrades!

I am on Window 7 platform trying to get my Acrobat 9 Pro to read out allowed in vain. Could someone kindly get me out of this quack mire?

I went to View Menu:-

Reading mode(checked it)-to-Read Allowed-to-Activate Read Allowed-to- Read This Page but it all flopped.

Am I missing a plug in for this functionality or it has to do with my installation Acrobat?

Acrobat support of Windows 7 begins with Acrobat 9.2.
