Hi All,

I've created the Accessibility PDF and checked with JAWS. Some of the figures like tree structure are reading by JAWS and after I set the alternate text as 'Image', JAWS still reading the figure contents alongwith alternate text. When I saved the PDF as 'Text (Accessible)', I'm getting the below contents:

Image
S.7
QPV
LH
J

Here 'Image' is the alternate text and the rest are figure contents, can anyone help me JAWS to read only the alternate text and to skip the other contents?

Thanks in advance,

Praveen

Just some Brownium motion between my ears but —
Perhaps you've a vector image with associated text that is be "seen".
Perhaps the image overlays some PDF page content that has the renderable characters.
Perhaps the characters where placed in the authoring file such that they have a font color that is the same as the "page" background color. To the eye they are "hidden"; however, to an application "perception" is not reality, eh?

Best to do would be to disect the authoring file in order to ascertain just what is present.

Be well...
