"Setup Assistant" can be easily overlooked. But, whilst stalking the accessible PDF in the wild, it is a good thing to have in your kit bag .Be well...
I have similar problems... actually this and a few others that I posted about in another thread. Each new version of acrobat seems to add a new complication.
I followed Daka's suggestions but unfortunately they didn't work for me. :(
