Multi User abilities of Acrobat Pro 8

Hello;

Our company is interested in going paperless for prints. I do steel detailing. The revisions are fast and furious as I am sure many of you know. I am looking into some sort of comment manager where one person would maintain server files and see that updated files are noted.

I would also like to be able to notify all detailers when the head detailer makes a decision. This way everyone will look for the new files as needed.

Has anyone had experience trying to go paperless(ish) with Acrobat?

Thanks

Frank,

About 11 months ago we implemented an Acrobat scanning and indexing solution. Although as a small distribution company we did initially find it expensive the time scanned in processing work as well as indexing as far out weighed the costs.

Regarding automation I am not entirely sure to what degree you need your work automated but we allocated and index the work through Adobe as well as carry out performance monitoring.

Nick.
