wrong linetypes printed

I am using a surveying drafting program Microsurvey Cad 2002. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I can print up to ANSI c size without problem. When I try to print an ANSI D size, all my dashed and similiar linetypes are converted to solid lines in the PDF. I am using Acrobat 8 professional. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using Acrobat Pro 9 and AutoCAD 2008. I'm using custom linetypes to show locations of firewalls. When I go through the process of saving my layers to the PDF, my custom linetypes only show up as dots in the PDFs, which is pretty pretty worthless. When I simply make a PDF, everything shows up fine.
Everything else shows up great, layers work great. The linetype issue is the only thing keeping my company from utilizing your product in 300+ hospitals.
