Acrobat 9: Changing default color for Replace Selected Text tool

I want to be able to change the default color from Blue in the Replace Selected text tool. Right now I have to go to the Options dropdown every time I make a new edit. I can't seem to find where or if I can do this. I have selected the tool, then gone to View --> Toolbars --> Properties Bar, but that only changes it for one instance. Is this something I can do?

Thanks

Right click on a newly created selection annotation. There should be an option labeled "Make Current Properties Default". That should do it.

Opps, The Replace Annotation is for some strange reasons the only tool that doesn't have defaults:(
Perhaps because it is a combination of two tools, The insert and the delete text Annots. When I changed the default for the insert it changed the color for the insert on the Replace, but changing the delete color default didn't affect the Replace. So I think there is a bug with this functionality/
