Acrobat "typewriter feature"

The reason I bought Acrobat prof.7 is so I can use the "typewriter" feature to fill-in pdf forms. But lately, the text that I type turns to light grey (like ghosted)? When I type it starts as black and when I go to another line, the texts that I just type on the previous line turns to light grey. And it prints as light grey too! Why can't I use this feature anymore?

You might have changed the default - hit Control-E to bring up the Properties dialogue box to revert back to the colour of your choice ...
