API to Enable commenting in PDF

Hi All,

Is there any API that can enable commenting in a PDF document? It is possible to enable commenting using Acrobat professional 8.0 but this is too cumbersome to do it manually if you have got to do it for hundreds of them.
Please let me know if there is any way to programmatically enable commenting for PDF documents?

Acrobat Pro. is designed for desktop use, if you're looking at enabling commenting programatically for hundreds of documents then you can use LiveCycle Reader Extensions.
