i am finding when i use the spell check to correct spelling of comment text that it leaves the last letter of the mispelled word appended onto the correct spelling of the entire word. Is this something that can be fixed by a setting change?

I've certainly noticed this problem (repeated last letter of corrected word) in comment boxes. Annoying bug/'feature'.

I'm having trouble with this too and it isn't helpful. I'm doing lots of review work at present and this wastes time.

Tony is correct. Adobe should be a time facilitator and help the day speed along. The spell check problem is a drawback and the delay in fixing it unprofessional.

Three cheers. You have fixed this problem. Now I can send "The Emperor's New Clothes" to my editor, confident of its acceptance.
