Those are great suggestions, but could someone provide an example that specifically shows how to change metadata that isn't in the Document Information Directory (see 10.6 of the 1.7 PDF Reference). An example of this would be the Document Properties-->Additional Metadata-->Copyright Status dropdown and the Document Properties-->Additional Metadata-->Copyright Notice field. The suggestions above don't go into detail on how to do that, which is what I need and which is what, I think, the first poster was asking about. I posted this question also at how-import-xmp-file-pdf and I kinda think the answer would be better posted there than here. Thanks to all.
