I have used Adobe 8 Acrobat Professional for several years with no problems, now suddenly the commenting and markup tools are not working. For instance, the rectangle box is not aligning on the text I would like to outline. The arrow key is not appearing where I want it.

I installed all updates and patches. My mouse is working fine, and I changed the battery.

Any ideas?

You might try Repairing your Acrobat installation to see if it corrects the problem. Have you changed anything with regard to your display recently?
