Hi,
I am trying to copy and paste a stamp to the same location on every page of a document. I was able to do this with acrobat 5 but am unable to do this with acrobat 9 pro. I right-clicked on the stamp and looked for a "Duplicate" but there wasn't any. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thank you.

Hi -

You're thinking of duplicating a form field, not a comment. Remember, stamps are a comment type, and display in the Comments pane at the bottom of the Acrobat window.

You could easily convert your comment to a button field: In Acrobat 9 Pro, (as in version 8) you don't have access to form tools unless you are working in Form mode. Briefly, here's what you do:

1. Click Forms > Start Form Wizard2. Follow through the prompts, although you don't need much content, of course. You simply want Acrobat to define the page as a form so you can access the tools.

3. You'll see a dialog box stating that no form fields were detected. Click OK to close the dialog box and you're into the Form mode.

4. Now, add a button to the page. You'll see the 'mini' dialog box for naming the field; click Show All Properties to open the Button Properties dialog box.

5. Leave the default settings for the button, and click the Options tab. Choose Icon only from the Layout dropdown list, click Choose Icon and select the image you're using for your stamp.

Once the button is finished, position it as you like on the page. When you right-click, you'll see the Duplicate command, and away you go.

In addition to Donna's suggestion, you can also duplicate stamps on every page using the Preflight tools.
