Create Custom Stamps

I'm trying to create a custom stamp from a bit map image. I've designed the stamp in Paint. I go to stamp tool on the comment and mark ups tool bar, select create a custom stamp. I can do that but the stamp is huge. How do I get the stamp to import in a smaller size? What am I missing?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.0999999999999996447286321199499070644378662109375, Windows

Ideally you should make it smaller to begin with, Photoshop is the tool for this.

But, you can get Acrobat to resample the image with the PDF Optimizer (under the Advanced menu). The stamps are really just PDF files. The trick is to figure out which file is your stamp, then open it in Acrobat and run the optimizer. This won't make the size of the stamp smaller, it'll just make the file smaller.
