How can I save Document Properties (i.e. Initial View|Layout) as default in Acrobat Pro v. 8.0?

Also, the search feature seems to be broken, it only shows the first page of results, the additional pages are blank. Firefox only problem, maybe.

Thank you.

Whatever settings you make for the document properties in the Initial View tab are saved with your PDF file. For example, if you want the file to open with a Fit Page view, set up that view in the Initial View tab and save the file. The view will override all user's viewing preferences.

If you want a default view for all PDF files you open, you can set the view in the Page Display Preferences. Open the Preferences (CTRL/Command + K) and click Page Display. Set the views you want and all PDF files saved with a default view will open according to your personal preference choices. However, if a user sets a view in the document properties Initial View tab, that view will override your preferences.

You might try several PDF files and search them all to be certain the Search problem persists. If so, post another question.
