Digital Signature as Part of Review and Approval

The Issue:

We have a form that requires several digital signatures and we have placed it as the first page of a review and comment file. We have enabled Usage Rights in Adobe Reader on the form. We have tried both shared and browser reviews.

The shared review will not let you digitally sign the form and the browser review does not compile the comments. The browser review lets you digital sign the form, but it does not retain the signature. Neither review retains the digial signature upon saving. However, both reviews retain the comments.

We are using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.

Any comments or suggestions would be grateful.

Unfortunately, digitial signatures are treated differently than comments since only comments are stored in the comment repositories. Here are a few other ideas to incorporate approvals:
- Create a separate "Approval PDF" and allow reviewers to email it to the repository.
- Post a separate "Approval PDF" with a Submit button and save to it the appropriate repository.
