I have a document created by MSWord 2010 that I am commenting on in Acrobat 9.3.2 Pro Ext on W7x64 Pro. This mostly works fine, but now and then when I hit Ctrl+S to save the document I get an error dialog saying that "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (14)".

That error text doesn't make sense to me at all. Does anyone know what it could mean?

I have write and read access to the document, it is on my HD. The message only pops up occasionally, not every time I hit Ctrl+S. Clicking OK on the dialog, I can typically hit Ctrl+S again with no problem. Sometimes I have to try two, three times before it works. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but the dialog is really annoying...

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.3.1, Windows

At this point, Acrobat 9 does not support Word 2010 so it may be related to this. Do you have any issues if you do a Save As?

Not seen any problem with Save As... But then I typically only use that the first time, when saving the pdf (received by email) to my HD.

I'm not sure I understand this about "not support Word 2010". The file is created by Word 2010, I'm not exactly sure how but surely once a pdf is created it is a *pdf* and not a *pdf-created-by-Word-2010*, or a *pdf-created-by-open-office* etc... Or?
