Drawing Markup visibility

I use the Acrobat "drawing mark up tools" such as line, call out, rectangle in addition to custom stamps to red line/mark up drawings. Once comments are placed on the pdf I can’t see them. They disappear from the screen view, if I know where I placed them I can click on them and the pop up for editing. Once done editing they hide again. If I view the document on full screen mode the comments become visible. They are not visible on reading plane or the default typical view where all toolbars are shown. I can print and all comments print out fine. "Show all comments" is enabled from the comments tool bar. How can I fix the visibility during the mark up progress? It has become a tedious process to mark up a document due to the lack of visibility. HELP!

Something to try —

Edit > Preferences > Select the Category "Commenting"Three panes are in the Commenting dialog.
Play with selections from the 'Pop-Up Open Behavior' pane.
As well, try some selections from the bottom pane (Making Comments). For example, try 'Create new pop-ups aligned to the edge of the document'.

Be well...
