Hello Experts,
When using Acrobat 8 PRO, anyway to embed comments/stamps/images, etc. into a PDF, so they become a permenent part of the image, without any evidence that they were added? That is, when the comment/stamp is clicked on by reader, it does not highlight, select or show pop ups or anything else? TIA, Jim

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8, Windows

In an answer: NO. You can't embed comments and markups. You can however protect the document using Acrobat security so users can't change comments.

I need the same functionality. The way that I do it is just reprint the document to a PDF again after adding the stamps.

A little clumsy but it suits my needs until it is addressed in the software.

The Preflight Tools in Acrobat 8 Pro. allow you to flatten annotations so they become a permanent part of the PDF. Check out Advanced --> Preflight then select the PDF fixups profile then select the Flatten annotations tool. The appearance of the annotation becomes part of the document.
